The Sevastopol Pioneers opted to go south instead of north for its season-opening cross-country meet.

The Pioneers, which has in the past competed in Gibraltar's Chief Kahquados Invitational, will instead compete at a similar meet hosted by Freedom. Other teams involved in the meet include Assumption, Chilton, Coleman, De Pere, Fox Valley Lutheran, Gillett, Green Bay East, Kaukauna, Little Chute, Marinette, New London, Oconto Falls, Peshtigo, Seymour, St. Mary's Springs Academy, Weyauwega Fremont, and Winneconne.

The race schedule is as follows:

7:30 course open
8:30 Varsity Girls
9:05 Varsity Boys
9:35 JV Boys and Girls
10:20 MS Boys and Girls
