The Sevastopol Pioneers boys' basketball team struggled defensively in the first half of its 77-30 loss to Oconto Thursday night.

The Pioneers gave up 47 points in the opening frame while only mustering 15 of their own. Five Blue Devils players scored in double figures led by Luke Krueger's 16 points. 

Cesar Sandoval was the only Pioneers player to crack double digits with 11 points. Frankie Ash chipped in nine points, but no other player contributed more than three points after that.
