The Sevastopol Pioneers boys' basketball team is hoping for a breakthrough Friday night when  Kewaunee comes to town.

The Pioneers are looking for their first win since early December as they battle a short bench heading into one of the most important times of the year. They lost to Gibraltar 70-45 earlier this week despite double-digit scoring performances from Carter Bieri and Tommy Giblin.

The Storm is currently tied with Southern Door and NEW Lutheran for second place in the Packerland Conference and just a half-game behind Peshtigo for an outright lead. Anthony Jerabek and Cameron Cullen each scored 15 points in their 70-60 loss to the Bulldogs earlier this week.
