The Sevastopol girls’ basketball team traveled to Gibraltar on Monday night to take on the Vikings in Packerland Conference play.
Sevastopol got off to a slow start as Gibraltar took a four point lead into the halftime break, outscoring the Pioneers 24-20 in the first half. The Pioneers had only three players score in the first half.
The Pioneers would come out of the halftime break on a mission, as Bailey Rikkola scored 12 in the second half on her way to posting 21 for the game. Kayla Ranly added 8 and the Pioneers defense held the Vikings to just four made field goals in the second frame.
Sevastopol will turn right around and face Sturgeon Bay on Tuesday night.
