The Sevastopol girls' basketball team  will make its case as the county's best team when they host Southern Door on Thursday.

The Pioneers are off to a 4-1 start after beating Roncalli 44-39 earlier this week. Bailey and Naomi Rikkola have been a potent 1-2 punch for the Pioneers as at least one of them leads the team in all major categories. The pair are currently averaging more than 14 points a game. Taylor Jandrin is trying to lead his Eagles squad to its first win since he took the job officially over a week ago. Kendra Shimon and Ashlyn Delfosse each scored 11 points in their 57-38 loss to Brillion on Tuesday.
