The Sevastopol girls team held their own against some of the best teams in the state on a tough course Thursday afternoon.
The Pioneers took fifth place in the varsity girls race, scoring 160 points.
Bea Dramm led the team with a 10th place finish and Jolene Luedtke finished 13th. Naomi Rikkola, who is a dual sport athlete this fall, finished 30th to come in as the team's third runner.
The team will have a week off before its next race at Mishicot.
