The Sevastopol girls track team will bring home plenty of hardware after this year's Division 3 WIAA State Track Meet held in LaCrosse on Thursday.

 

The team took seventh place overall, tying Ladysmith with 22 points. Royall won with 50 points scored across all the events. 

 

Olivia Stenzel's time of 1:00.17 in the 400m garnered her an eighth-place finish, but she was less than a second from capturing a silver medal. She would run a PR in the 800m to secure a third-place finish with a time of 2:19.13. Laci Lautenbach set a season record in the high jump to take third place and and Zoe Kuehn set a personal record to take fifth place in the triple jump. The 4x200m and 4x400m relays also medaled for the Pioneers.

 

On the boys' side, Spencer Evenson concluded his senior season with a personal record in the 400M. His time of 52.53 was good for 11th place.
