The Sevastopol track and field team headed to LaCrosse on Wednesday hoping for a Thursday filled with visits to the podium at the Division 3 WIAA State Track Meet.

The sectional champion Sevastopol Pioneers girls' team will have several members of its team competing on Thursday. That includes Bea Dramm in the 1600m finals, the 4x100m, 4x200m, and 4x400m relays in section two of the finals, Olivia Stenzel in the second section of the 400m finals and 800m finals, Laci Lautenbach in the high jump, and Zoe Kuehn in the first flight of the triple jump.  Spencer Evenson will also be competing for the Pioneers in the second section of the 400m finals.

The Pioneers' 4x400m relay is the highest-ranked of their nine state-qualifying performances, posting the second-fastest time 4:07.49.
