The Sevastopol softball team hopes their season lasts a little longer when it opens WIAA Tournament play at Iola-Scandanavia.

 

The Pioneers split their two games at the Stockbridge Tournament its last time out after going 3-5 in conference play. Sasha Laaksonen leads the team with an average of over .400 while Bailey Rikkola and Jolene Luedtke are tied for the team lead for RBI at seven.

 

Iola-Scandanavia has gone 6-4 in its last 10 games, including a 9-5 loss to Wittenberg-Birnamwood in the regular-season finale.

 

First pitch is slated for 4:30 p.m.
