In a non-conference matchup that gave the Pioneers valuable reps before the regional tournament, Sevastopol dominated the first two sets against Gresham Community. Sevastopol took set one 25-8 and then set two 25-10. Gresham tightened the gap in the third set but not enough, as the Pioneers took set three 25-20. Madi Volkmann had 14 kills, Sasha Laaksonen collected 15 assists accompanied by four aces and Bailey Rikkola had 16 digs and four aces as well. 

Sevastopol is the one seed in the regional tournament and will host Southern Door on Saturday.
