As the postseason becomes closer, the rivalry matchups get more intense. On Thursday at Sevastopol High School, the Pioneers will host the Gibraltar Vikings and both teams come into the game playing well as of late. Sevastopol has won eight of their last nine since dropping their season opener to Green Bay Preble. The Pioneers come into the game with an 8-2 record, and beat Gibraltar in five sets on March 13.
Gibraltar had a cold start to the season with a 1-3 record. Since, they have won four of their next five. The Vikings will try and avenge their March loss to the Pioneers and extend their record to 6-4. The opening serve is set to take place at 7:15 PM.
