The Sevastopol Pioneers volleyball went the distance in its 3-2 win over Clintonville Thursday night. 

The Pioneers dropped the first two sets against the Truckers 28-30, 21-25 before taking the momentum away with a 28-26 extra points victory followed by two more set wins 25-12 and15-7.

The offense flowed through Sasha Laaksonen, who recorded eight service aces and 22 assists. The Pioneers showed some balance too as Emma Steuber collected 17 assists and Madi Volkmann (14 kills) and Bekah Andreae (11 kills) each registered double-digit kill totals. Defensively, Bailey Rikkola recorded 29 digs.
