The Sevastopol Pioneers will need their best effort and then some against the top-seeded Mishicot Indians on the road Friday night.

 

The Pioneers used a big run midway through the first half to put some distance between them and the Gibraltar Vikings en route to a 54-31 win in Institute Tuesday night. The Pioneers got even efforts from Zoe Kuehn, Libby Ash, and Bailey Rikkola in the win with all three scoring in double figures. The Indians went 14-2 on the season, including an 80-44 in their last game almost a week ago. Pioneers head coach Ben Rikkola knows what they are up against when they travel to play the number 1 team in the state in Division 4.

 

The Pioneers and the Indians meet in Mishicot for a 7 p.m. tip.
