Sevastopol High School

Sevastopol girls host Gibraltar on 105.1 The GOAT

A trip to top-ranked Mishicot is on the line when the Gibraltar Vikings travel to face the Sevastopol Pioneers.

The Pioneers have lost five of their last six game, but have done so by a combined total of only 14 points. That includes their last game against Southern Door to the tune of 43-39. Even with the skid, the Pioneers have improved more than five games off of last year's win total. Culver's Door County Student-Athlete of the Week leads the team with almost a double-double a game with 17.3 points and 9.9 rebounds a game.

The Vikings have run through a gauntlet as they have face four of the conference's top five teams since breaking out of quarantine last week, going 0-3 in that span thus far.  Karlee Kita scored 13 and Maggie Moroney added 11 in the team's 73-40 loss against Kewaunee. The Vikings have been able to spread the wealth this season with three different players averaging close to double figures in Kita, Moroney, and guard Sage Krause.

Tim Kowols and Bryan Mazur will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the pregame followed by the opening tip at 7 p.m.
