In the first cross country meet of the season, the Pioneer girls were able to come away victorious over Oconto and Southern Door. Sevastopol was led by Olivia Stenzel who finished with a time of 20:30. The Pioneers' other four scoring runners finished in the top 10.

The Pioneer boys didn’t have enough runners to qualify as a team but all three runners performed well.
