Sevastopol volleyball drops match in straight sets

Sevastopol High School's volleyball team wrapped up regular season play at home against Gibraltar, falling 20-25, 17-25, 22-25.


Mya Ploor and Johanna Andreae were the big offensive threats for the Pioneers, tallying 11 kills and 6 kills respectively. Sasha Laaksonen delivered 23 assists on the night. Defensively, Sam Differt had 12 digs. 


Sevastopol returns to the court Thursday night at 6 PM against Kewaunee. It is the play-in game to reach the Conference Tournament on Saturday at Southern Door High School. Sevastopol is the nine seed so they will be on the road against the eight seed Storm.
