Packerland Conference play opens with the Pioneers traveling to Algoma. Sevastopol is 1-5 on the year. Of those five losses, four have been two-set sweeps. Sevastopol worked hard in the offseason to prepare for the year including team camp featuring the Lakeland College coaching staff. That work has yet to translate to the court in 2019 but volleyball has a tricky schedule. Practice officially begins just one week before matches start. That means that some programs hit their stride earlier than others. Sevastopol and Algoma have had no common opponents this year. First set starts Thursday at 7 PM.
