A rainy morning turned into a bright late summer day in Fish Creek as twenty teams competed in the Chief Kahquados Invitational Thursday afternoon as Sevastopol's Olivia Stenzel took sixth place overall. The junior runner ran a 5K time of 20:50 to lead the Pioneers to a seventh-place finish. Stenzel says it was great to be in a race again as she officially began her quest to break the 20-minute mark in the 5K distance.
The Pflieger tandem of Josh and Jake and finished within 30 seconds of each other to lead the Pioneer boys to a 10th place finish.
