The Sevastopol Pioneers track teams boasted some pretty impressive performance Thursday in Seymour despite competing against bigger teams.
Both the boys and girls teams finished in the bottom third of the final team scores and had no champions in some of the different events, but had several podium finishes along the way.
On the boy's side, Kyle Carlson took second in the 1600 meter run and Kiegan Sargent took third in the long jump.
For the girls, the 4 x 200m relay team took third. Rylie Krishka had a 2nd place finish in the 200-meter dash, Olivia Stenzel finished in 3rd in the 3200-meter run. and Laci Lautenbach tied for third in the high jump.
