Sevastopol High School

Sevastopol girls track and field team put up impressive showing

The boys and girls track and field teams of Sevastopol were one of 15 schools to participate at a meet at St. Norbert College on Friday. The boys finished in 14th place with 13 points. The Pioneer girls put up a very impressive 59.5 points which was good for fourth.

 

Kiegen Sargent was the star on the boys side finishing sixth the 200M and fourth in the Long Jump.

 

Mya Ploor finished second in the 800M and Olivia Stenzel's time was good for third in that event. Stenzel also finished third in the 1600M.

 

Lizzy Fiscus picked up a second place finish in the 2k Steeplechase.

 

Three of the relay teams finished in the top five. The 4x200 Relay Team of Kelsey Christiansen, Rylee Krishka, Laci Lautenbach and Madi Volkmann placed fourth. The 4x400 team with Krishka, Ploor, Stenzel and Kylie Newton was also fourth. The 4x800 Relay Team of Zoe Keuhn, Newton, Ploor and Rachel Wilke finished in third place.

 

Laci Lautenbach was tied for third in the High Jump and Zoe Kuehn was third in the Triple Jump.
