With the way the decade of the 2010s started for Sevastopol softball you would've thought that was a good omen. In 2010, the Pioneers finished 14-7 overall and 9-4 in the Packerland Conference which was good for a third-place finish. They then went on to win the regional championship in the playoffs and almost made it to state before losing in the sectional final.

It hasn't been a great run since 2010 as Sevastopol has not finished above .500 since, but as the 2019 season approaches, hope is high that Pioneer softball can finish the decade similarly to how they started it. Sevastopol is scheduled to start the season on April 2nd hosting conference rival Southern Door.
