The Luxemburg-Casco volleyball team will have a chance to avenge an earlier season loss to Oconto Falls after sweeping Seymour Thursday night in the WIAA Regional Semifinal.

The Spartans took each set 25-17 with Claire Schleis (19 assists, 10 kills, 7 digs, 3 aces), Stella Schleis (13 assists and 12 digs), Aubrey Frey (20 kills, 10 digs, 2 aces), Ali Jansen (9 kills), and Jenna Annoye (13 digs) leading the charge.

Head coach Jeff Frey was happy with the team's effort, but knows a tough lies ahead on Saturday in Oconto Falls, which beat the Spartans 3-1 two weeks ago to deny the Spartans an NEC title. "Tonight was a good way to start the postseason; survive and advance is all that matters this time of year," Frey said. "We are excited for the rematch and the opportunity in front of us on Saturday against Oconto Falls."
