Reese Bandow represented Luxemburg-Casco at the WIAA Division 1 sectional Tuesday, shooting a 94 at Thornberry Creek at Oneida.

Bandow advanced to the sectional as an individual after shooting an 85 at the regional meet, where the Spartans fell just three strokes short of advancing as a team. The senior was unable to earn one of the individual spots at state, finishing tied with Bay Port’s Eva Kentop and Notre Dame’s Abigail Rupp with a 94.

Green Bay Preble’s Emma Cunningham led the field with a 71 and qualified individually for state. De Pere’s Emma Hudson and Ashwaubenon’s Amelia Hogue also earned individual state berths, while Bay Port and Kaukauna advanced as teams.

The sectional appearance brings Bandow’s senior season with Luxemburg-Casco to a close after advancing through the postseason as the Spartans’ lone sectional qualifier.
