The Luxemburg-Casco soccer team improved to 2-0 on the young season with a 3-1 victory over Seymour on Friday night.

Elvin Mendoza registered a hat trick with a first-half brace (2' and 26') before burying his third goal in the match's final five minutes. Connor Hart, Wilmer Castellanos, and Grant Heurkens tallied the assists. The Thunder's lone goal game in the 28th minute when Brayden Maass snuck one past Carson Koller. Seymour goaltender Julian Jaimes made seven saves while Koller collected five.

The Spartans are back in action on Tuesday when they face Kewaunee.
