The Luxemburg-Casco girls soccer team is moving on. The Spartans knocked off Freedom 2-0 Friday night in the D3 Regional Final to punch their ticket to the sectional semifinal. It comes over a month after the Irish took down L-C in a regular season matchup, 1-0. 

Luxemburg-Casco was sharp defensively making six saves to preserve the shutout. The Spartans used their defense to control the game offensively and it allowed them to keep Freedom off the board entirely, reversing the loss they were handed early this season, but this time when it mattered most. 

Luxemburg-Casco hosts the sectional semifinal Wednesday, June 11th at 4pm, taking on either Waupun or Kiel.
