Emi Kuhn's first half goal was enough for the Luxemburg-Casco girls soccer team to hold off Sturgeon Bay at home on Thursday.

 

Laney Jauquet provided Kuhn with the ball for the lone tally of the game.

 

Both teams' goalkeepers stood their ground for the rest of the game with Luxemburg-Casco's Teagan Gunderson registering no saves while Sturgeon Bay's Prudence Goettelman made nine saves.

 

The Spartans will be in action next Thursday at home for Regional Semi-Final game vs North Fond Du Lac/Oakfield. The Clippers will also be at home for their tournament opener on Thursday against Door County United.
