Luxemburg-Casco rallied in the seventh inning to beat Waupaca 8-6 on Tuesday, with Eli Derenne's sacrifice fly and back-to-back RBIs from Noah Chervenka and Gavin Lax providing the go-ahead runs.

Ethan Dachelet went 3-for-4 and stole four bases to pace the offense, while Derenne, Lax, and Chervenka each drove in two runs. The Spartans finished with 11 hits and five stolen bases. Hudson Billings came on in relief and tossed two and two-thirds scoreless innings to earn the win.

Waupaca made it interesting with a four-run fifth to grab the lead, with Reed Rogers and Jay Card each driving in two runs, but Luxemburg-Casco answered in the seventh and held on.

The two teams meet again Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
