The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans had a rough one Tuesday, dropping an 11-1 decision to Denmark.

Denmark wasted no time, putting up four runs in the first inning and never looking back. Gavin Lax took the loss on the mound, allowing eight runs over four innings.

Offensively it was a tough day for the Spartans, who managed just three hits. Ethan Werner drove in the team's only run, finishing 1-for-2. 

Luxemburg-Casco welcomes Denmark back Thursday for a rematch beginning at 4:30pm.
