Luxemburg-Casco delivered a dominant performance in nonconference girls soccer action Tuesday, rolling to a 6-0 victory over Fox Valley Lutheran.
Aaliyah Wallace led the offensive surge for Luxemburg-Casco, recording four first-half goals in a span of seven minutes to break the match open. Wallace struck in the 18th minute off an assist from Claire Marohl, then added goals in the 20th and 23rd minutes with assists from Emi Kuhn. She capped her scoring run in the 25th minute, finishing a pass from Kilee Barbiaux to give the Spartans a commanding 4-0 lead at halftime.
The Spartans continued their momentum after the break. Kuhn found the net in the 46th minute off Barbiaux’s assist, and Barbiaux added a goal of her own in the 66th minute, assisted by Kuhn.
Teagan Gunderson anchored the Spartans’ defense in goal, finishing with two saves to preserve the shutout. Fox Valley Lutheran goalkeeper Adrianna Boutott recorded seven saves in the loss.
Luxemburg-Casco returns to action Thursday, hosting Waupaca in a North Eastern Conference matchup.
