A free kick converted by Freedom's Elle Lezotte in the 23rd minute proved to be the difference in a 1-0 loss for the Luxemburg-Casco soccer team on Thursday.

It was otherwise a goalkeeping clinic for Luxemburg-Casco's Teagan Gunderson and Freedom's Sophia Johnson, with each collecting 10 saves on the night.

The Spartans will go back to work on Friday when they travel to Grafton for a 6 p.m. first touch.
