Luxemburg-Casco baseball made it back-to-back 2-1 wins over Wrightstown, riding a dominant complete-game performance from Noah Chervenka.
Chervenka was in control all night, allowing just two hits and one unearned run while striking out seven over seven innings.
The Spartans struck first in the second inning on an RBI single from Tatum Klaubauf, then added the go-ahead run in the third when Chervenka helped his own cause with an RBI double down the left field line.
Klaubauf and Chervenka each finished with two hits and an RBI to lead the offense, while Eli Derenne added pressure on the bases with two steals.
Wrightstown’s lone run came off the bat of Ryan Leahy, but Jacob Miller was tough-luck in the loss despite a complete-game effort.
Luxemburg-Casco returns home Saturday to face Clintonville.
