The Luxemburg-Casco softball team is hitting the road this Thursday as they are set to face the Marinette Marines. 

 

The Spartans are fresh off a pair of wins over Little Chute on Tuesday, winning the first game 12-0, then 15-0.

 

In the first game, Rylan Kaminski led the offense with two hits, including a solo home run and a two-run double, driving in four runs. Alayna Deprez contributed three hits and two RBIs, and Claire Schleis hit a three-run triple during a six-run second inning surge. Jasmine Jandrin was a force on the mound, striking out 10 and limiting Little Chute to just three hits over five innings.

 

The second match-up saw an even more explosive offense, ending 15-0 in just three innings. Riley Westland was unstoppable, going 3-for-3 with two home runs in back-to-back innings, racking up six RBIs. Abigail Buckmaster also added a three-run shot in the third. Baylee Wypiszenski earned the win, pitching four scoreless innings and allowing only three hits.

 

The first pitch is at 4:30 p.m.
