Luxemburg-Casco couldn’t get the offense going in a 4-0 loss to Oconto Falls on Saturday.

Oconto Falls struck early with a run in the first inning and added three more in the second to build a 4-0 lead. From there, strong pitching kept the Spartans off the board the rest of the way, despite a few bright spots at the plate, including a 2-for-3 performance from Jacob Coisman.

Hudson Billings provided solid relief work, throwing five scoreless innings with six strikeouts, but the early damage proved too much to overcome. Oconto Falls starter Carter Heroux controlled the game throughout, striking out 10 over seven shutout innings.

Luxemburg-Casco will look to bounce back Tuesday at Little Chute.
