The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans ran into a strong test Thursday, falling 3-1 to the No. 5 ranked Notre Dame Tritons.

Luxemburg-Casco battled throughout, but Notre Dame’s offense proved to be the difference. The Spartans were able to find the back of the net once, but couldn’t generate enough chances to keep pace against one of the top teams in the state.

Despite the loss, Luxemburg-Casco showed flashes against high-level competition and will look to carry that into their next matchup in the Notre Dame Quad Saturday at 11 am at Notre Dame Academy.
