The Luxemburg-Casco girls soccer team is preparing for its season opener Tuesday, when the Spartans travel to face the Kohler Blue Bombers.

 

Last season, the Spartans finished 11-7-2, taking third in the Northeastern Conference with a 4-2-1 record. Potential returners this spring include first-team all-conference selections Emi Kuhn and Aaliyah Wallace.

 

Speaking at last week's Spring Sports Preview at the Rendezvous of Luxemburg, head coach Blair Bandow said it was a blessing to have so many seniors come back into the fold to provide leadership on and off the pitch.

 

 

The Blue Bombers finished their 2025 campaign with a 1-0 loss to St. Mary Springs in the WIAA Regional Final. They went 11-6-1 last year and welcome two All-Big East selections back to their squad.

 

Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
