Luxemburg-Casco girls grabbed their second win of the season getting back on track after a tough opening run. The Spartans (2-3) downed the Jaguars (0-5) at home 62-31.
A 22-point first half lead, 33-11, gave the Spartans comfortability to run the second half at their own pace as they started to slow it down moderately, but kept the offense running efficiently.
Brianna Bray sank four three-pointers en route to a game-high 19 points for the Spartans. Sienna Blohowiak added 13 and Alayna Heurkens chipped in nine points in the Spartans win. The Jaguars were led in scoring by Laylah Matchopatowell, who scored 10 points.
L-C will get a day of rest before traveling to face Waupaca Thursday for a chance to even up their record after an 0-3 start to the season.
