Luxemburg-Casco falls after leading at halftime

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans came up shy in a matchup with Seymour Tuesday 47-37 after they led by 5 at the break. Brianna Bray led the Spartans, and all scorers, with 18.

L-C was outshot from three, 6-4, and struggled to get to the free throw line, but was 5-7 for 71.4%. Karsyn Walczyk was the only bench player to put up points, contributing 5, and the highest scorer for the Spartans behind Bray.

For Seymour, two were in double figures: Natalie Rudnick (15) and Kenlee Jansen (10) off the bench.

A big offensive second-half from Rudnick with 12 points, propelled Seymour to the win over the Spartans.

Luxemburg-Casco will get a break for Thanksgiving before playing their first home action December 2nd against Little Chute with a 7 p.m. tipoff.
