The Luxemburg-Casco volleyball team is set to face Xavier in the WIAA Division 2 semifinals this Saturday at Seymour. The last time these two teams faced. Xavier came out on top with a 2-1 win. Xavier enters this match after a 3-1 win over Winneconne. The Spartans, meanwhile, secured their spot by defeating Fox Valley Lutheran 3-1. Leading the way for the Spartans was Alayna Deprez with 43 assists, 7 digs, and 3 blocks. Aubrey Frey contributed significantly with 31 kills, 10 digs, 2 blocks, and 2 aces. Other notable efforts came from Ali Jensen and Claire Chleis, both with 8 kills, with Chleis also adding 2 aces. Rylan Kaminski led the defense with 15 digs and 4 aces. The winner of this semifinal match will advance to the State Championship.
