It was a successful day for the Spartans at the WIAA Division 2 Sectional 4 meet in Waupaca. Both the Luxemburg-Casco boys and girls cross country teams secured spots for the State Championships on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.
The Luxemburg-Casco boys placed second as a team with 69 points, finishing behind only Notre Dame (49). Depth and consistency pushed the Spartans through, led by Zach Tassoul (6th, 17:08.2), Derek Christoph (13th, 17:31.4), Tanner Snowberry (15th, 17:33.5), Ezra Treml (17th, 17:44.0), Jonathan Salentine (18th, 17:51.9), and Marcis Doell (22nd, 18:06.4).
On the girls side, Luxemburg-Casco finished fourth as a team with 106 points but still earned a State berth. Leading the way was Claire DuChateau, who placed second overall in 19:40.0, followed by Adeline Treml, Ellison Bosman, Charli Bosman, and Gretta Annoye.
Sturgeon Bay also had a standout individual performance as Delaney Skiba qualified for State by placing eighth overall in 20:20.1. The Clippers finished 13th as a team with 295 points.
