Spartans take on conference rivals at UW-Green Bay

The Luxemburg-Casco cross country team will visit a familiar course on Friday to run against its NEC rivals in the NorthEastern Conference Championships at UW-Green Bay.

 

The Spartans wiill race on the former Shorewood Golf Course for the second time this season after competing in the De Pere Invitational in the opening weeks of the season. For the boys, Ezra Treml led the way with a 21st place finish as the Spartans top four runners all broke 18 minutes and all five finished in the top 50. As a result, the Spartans placed 1st in the small school and 5th overall (24 teams). On the girls' side, Claire Duchateau broke 20 minutes to come in eighth place overall. The team placed 3rd for small schools and 13th overall (30 teams).

 

Clintonville, Denmark, Freedom, Little Chute, Marinette, Oconto Falls, Waupaca, and Wrightstown will also run in the meet with the first race beginning at 3:30 p.m.
