After cruising to a 6-0 mark in the NEC, the Luxemburg-Casco volleyball will face its toughest conference opponent to date when it travels to Oconto Falls on Tuesday.
The Spartans went 3-1 to earn a fifth-place finish at the 12-team Neenah Invitational on Saturday. After losing to Stevens Point, they defeated Sun Prairie West (25-17, 25-14) and Stevens Point (25-20, 23-25, 15-11) to close out the day on a high note.
The Panthers went a month without losing before it fell to Freedom in a tough five-set match on September 30th. Part of that winning streak included a Panthers win over the Spartans on August 30th in a tournament. After taking the first set, the Spartans lost the three-set match 25-16, 20-25, 11-15.
The first serve is slated for 7 p.m.
