The top seven places all wore a familar shade of maroon and gold on Thursday as Luxemburg-Casco won the boys division and took second place in the girls division at the Pioneer Invitational in Sturgeon Bay.

 

About one minute separated first-place Zach Tassoul (17:18) and seventh-place Marcus Doell (18:19) as the Spartans scored a perfect 15 to easily win the meet. The girls had a tougher battle as they took second place behind Green Bay Preble 26-55. Claire Duchateau led the way with a second place finish and a 5K time of 19:21. Adeline Treml also broke 21 minutes to finish in the Top 10 overall.
