Spartans look to remain unbeaten on 104.1 WRLU

Luxemburg-Casco will look to build its playoff resume and remain undefeated on the season when it travels to Two Rivers for a North Eastern Conference showdown on 104.1 WRLU.

The Spartans are coming off a rare Saturday game, where they took down Shawano in a cross-conference game by a 37-8 score. In the game, Eli Derenne was electric, throwing for four touchdowns and rushing for another. Derenne connected with Cam Dorner and Tatem Klaubauf for a score and with Mason Trimberger for a pair of touchdowns.  Defensively, Luxemburg Casco shut out the Hawks through the first 3 quarters until Shawano scored in the 4th, and converted the two-point conversion. The 8 points in the game are the most Luxemburg-Casco had allowed in a contest all season.

The Purple Raiders will be riding a bit of momentum, having won their first game of the season last week.  Two Rivers downed Sheboygan Falls 42-7 to spoil the Falcons' homecoming festivities. Noah Shilcox threw for a pair of touchdowns and ran for one in their win.  Running back Max Matthias added two rushing scores for the Purple Raiders as well.

Eric Fischer and Ramsay Thompson will have the call, with the pregame show starting at 6:45 and kickoff at 7:00 PM.
