The Luxemburg-Casco soccer team returns to Northeastern Conference play on Thursday when they travel to Denmark for a matinee.
After a back-and-forth first half that left Peshtigo and Luxemburg-Casco tied 2-2 at the break, L-C pulled out a 3-2 win thanks to an own goal in the 68th minute Tuesday night. Dylan Roberts opened the scoring for the Spartans just 13 minutes in with an assist from Aric Bernhardt, giving L-C a 1-0 lead. Carson Hunsaker tied the game at 2 with a goal in the 35th minute before the Spartans took the match on the own goal.
The Vikings are playing a Kewaunee County-based team for the third straight match, kicking off the streak with a 3-0 loss to Algoma before doubling up Kewaunee in its last game, 6-3. James Nellis posted a hat trick while Oliver Mleziva registered a brace in the win.
The first touch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
