Luxemburg-Casco saw its girls' golf season get extended at least one more week on Wednesday, taking third in the WIAA Regional hosted at its home course of Northbrook in Luxemburg.

Reese Bandow won the regional with an 11-over 84, one stroke better than Seymour's Morgan Lewis. The Spartans took third overall with a score of 412, 44 strokes behind the first-place Thunder.  Brielle Snowberry shot a score of 100 to place in the top 15. Other Spartans golfers that will head to next week's WIAA sectional include Averi Buresh (20th, 112), Laney Treml (24th, 116), and Chloe Treml (25th, 117).
