After a back-and-forth first half that left Peshtigo and Luxemburg-Casco tied 2-2 at the break, L-C pulled out a 3-2 win thanks to an own goal in the 68th minute Tuesday night.

 

Dylan Roberts opened the scoring for the Spartans just 13 minutes in with an assist from Aric Bernhardt, giving L-C a 1-0 lead.

 

Peshtigo's Wyatt Denny answered with two goals, at 17 and 28 minutes, putting the Bulldogs ahead for much of the first half.

 

Carson Hunsaker tied the game at 2 with a goal in the 35th minute, and the second-half own goal by Peshtigo proved to be enough for Luxemburg-Casco to escape with the win.

 

The Spartans improve to 5-6-1 on the season and will travel to Denmark Thursday for a conference matchup starting at 4 PM.
