After a strong start to the day in pool play on Saturday, Luxemburg-Casco fell in a three set battle with Stevens Point in the semi-final.
The Spartans didn't drop a set until the semi-final, defeating Pulaski (25-27, 25-20), Appleton West (25-7, 25-11) and DC Everest (25-16, 25-23).
Leaders for Luxemburg-Casco were Alayna Deprez with 77 assists and 20 digs and Aubrey Frey who scored 44 kills and 15 digs, and Rylan Kaminski with 28 digs.
The loss to Stevens Point came in a back-and-forth battle in which the Spartans dropped the first set 21-25, stole the second 27-25, and finally lost 10-15.
Luxemburg-Casco sits at 23-8 overall on the season and 5-0 in conference play heading into a matchup with Marinette on Thursday.
