Heads are turning across the state, as the now ranked Luxemburg Casco Spartans host the Sheboygan Falls Falcons tonight on 104.1 WRLU. 

Last week’s 21-3 win over Wrightstown brought enough attention to the Spartans to earn them the 10th spot in the Bound Wisconsin coaches poll rankings.  Luxemburg Casco relies heavily on their ground game in that win, as Eli Derenne, Cam Dorner, and Brayden Loritz all rushed for scores last week.  Derenne led the effort with 88 yards on the ground, while also completing 8 of 11 passes for 102 yards.  

Sheboygan Falls comes into this game at 0-4 on the season, fresh off a 52-6 loss to Winneconne last week.  Sophomore running back Olen Berg scored the team’s first touchdown of the season last week, part of a 107 yard effort.  Despite the Falcons record, Spartans coach Neil Seering said in his postgame interview last week that the team needs to remain hungry and not overlook any opponent.
