The Luxemburg-Casco volleyball team defeated Denmark 3-0 (25-11, 26-24, 25-23) on Tuesday night.

Leading the way for the Spartans were Alayna Deprez (27 assists, 7 digs), Aubrey Frey (21 kills, 11 digs), Claire Schleis (7 kills, 3 aces), and Rylan Kaminski (21 digs).

Head coach Jeff Frey admitted it was not his team's best night, but added that it is always good to win on the road. "Dustin (Denmark's coach) had his team ready to play, especially after that first set," Frey said. "They made us work for everything.  We found a way in sets two and three.  I love the grit that we showed when we needed it."
