The Luxemburg-Casco volleyball team cruised to a three-set sweep of Wrightstown on Thursday, beating the Tigers 25-9, 25-21, 25-19.

Leading the Spartans were Alayna Deprez (29 assists, 5 digs), Aubrey Frey (21 Kills, 7 digs), MJ Olson (5 kills), Rylan Kaminski (16 digs), and Danica Bartles (9 digs, 5 aces)

Head coach Jeff Frey said afterwards that it was a great way to start the season, especially coming on the road. "I loved the fast start we got off to in set 1, credit Kristine and her team, they came back fighting in the last 2 sets, Frey said. "We still have things to clean up, but I like the direction we are headed in."

The Spartans are back in action for Saturday's Triton Invite, featuring De Pere, Kimberly, Mosinee, Notre Dame Academy, Oostburg, Sheboygan Falls, and West De Pere.
